Popular Islamic Musician Rukayat Gawat lunches her new album "Ogbe Okan 3'' on Sunday 1st of Nuv. 2015

Top Islamic female musician, Rukayat Gawat will on Sunday, 1 November, 2015 gather friends, fans and well-wishers as she unveils her latest album, ‘Ogbe Okan 3’ at 10 Degrees Event Centre, Billings Way, Oregun in Ikeja, Lagos. Tagged ‘Imole Day 2015’, the event will also be used to honour her fans and her father, Rasaq Aremu Gawat and empower widows and orphans as she gives back to society. Packaged by Okiki Films, the event begins by 10 am with a lecture by distinguished cleric, Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello after which there will be series of performances by guest artistes including Wasiu Kayode As-sideeq, Baba N Waka, Ayeloyun, Saoti Arewa, Ere Asalatu, Omotayebi, Iya N Kaola, Gbemisoke, Temi Ni Success and Akogba among others. Gawat and her band, Imole Voice of Islam, are set to inspire all through ‘Ogbe Okan 3’. The Guest launcher is Chairman, Staco Insurance, Mr Dere Otubu. The Asiwaju of Ijebu Ayepe Land, Alhaji Sodiq Kayode Jamiu is the father of the day while the CEO of Bolamark, Alhaji Abdul-Azeez Fatai is the Chairman of the day. The chief host is the MD/CEO Staco Insurance Plc, Alhaji Shakirudeen Olaonipekun Oyefeso.

Alhaja Rukayat Gawat - Oyefeso , one of the fast-rising Islamic singers in the music industry and daughter of missing Nigerian Television Authority popular TV personality , Alhaji Rasaq Aremu Gawat , has emerged the new Social Secretary of Islamic Musician Association of Nigeria, ISMAN , Lagos State chapter . The charming singer was pronounced the state Social Secretary by the national electoral board of ISMAN at the just concluded election for Lagos State Chapter held on 30 July at Isolo area of Lagos.

During the election, Alhaji Abdul Ganiyu Abideen was re -elected as the Governor for another tenure while popular sonorous singer , Alhaja Aminat Babalola -Balogun widely known as ‘ Omotayebi ’ emerged the new ‘ Amira ’ - leader of the women affairs – of the ISMAN . Rukayat, married and blessed with kids , is a Mass-Communication graduate of the Olabisi Onabanjo University , Ogun State. She took the music scene by storm with her hit single entitled ‘ Ogbe -Okan , which featured Alhaji Abdul Kabir Bukola Alayande popularly known as ‘ Ere Asalatu, Aminat Omotayebi and Ustaz Saheed Ife-Araye aka ‘ Gbemisoke’ . The singer focuses more on issues affecting women and preaches the ideals a good wife should embrace as well as the duties and roles of women in the Islamic world. The easy - going singer has performed at several big Islamic functions and has some musical albums that include Imole , My father, Arinakore Aye Le, and Agboko L’ Ori to her credit.

Oh! This forum is meant for all the single peeps out there!!! Do you want or like when your friends try to set you up with their other single friends? I certainly do not. It's happened to me a number of times within the past two years. My sister tried to pair me up with her co-worker's niece. TITLE:                LIFE ON THE LINE                   CHAPTER ONE . (THE DAWN). Life in the campus was nothing but one with mixed feelings. The good days were there for me to lean on at my leisure, while the bad ones left sore in my throats. Was is the threat of choice and freedom from the gangs who classified themselves as the alpha and omega of us all, or the illegal and unlawful impositions from the lecturers and most annoying hike in our tuitions by the school authorities... there were many of such to remember for years to come. Although,those mixed acts were not unexpected as my father did foretold me of their comings, but some of them were beyond my handling. As days went by, months kept running like the wheel of a moving train, years were burnt out like candle wax and all things, excluding my unexpected, went as nature planned them. My face was captured by every single eye in my department,my name was on every tongue and so the platonic love of my forms for me knew no bound.
