Toba went in to freshen up and later came back to eat as they both discussed their day. Femi was approaching the gate when he heard blessing's voice from afar. He stopped and leaned back on the seat. Femi: what kind of life is this? Can't even rest. She's making trouble with our neighbor again. What do I do now? He lamented as he drove in. He saw the wife locking up Apostle. Apostle is a close neighbor. However, he is known to be a very social man. He changes ladies like diapers. He had brought a young lady home who had insulted blessing. Blessing had to transferred the aggression to apostle. Femi: blessing let off his shirt. Blessing: are U suppose to say this or fight back. Femi: let him go!!! Blessing let off apostle shirt. Apostle: Mr Femi, I respect u so much if not I would have dealt with her.. Blessing: heyyyyyyyyyy! Deal with who? Femi see what u have caused. U let this guy that looks like bin ladden to wag his mouth at me. Not your fault. Femi we go meet inside. Femi apologized and went to his apartment. He knocked at the door. Blessing refused to open the door. Blessing: go and sleep in that bin laden house. Idiotic husband who can not support the wife. Foolish man. Femi: open this door because I am tired. I need rest and am hungry. Blessing: sleep there. Blessing refused to open the door. Femi had no choice than to go back to Toba place to pass the night. Blessing is a lion hearted woman. Femi knew this in her but he chose to follow his emotions and wish. Femi wanted a lady who suited the profile he needed in a woman. Blessing no doubt suited that profile. Hardworking, educated, bold, courageous, phenomenal and presentable. However those qualities are not enough to guarantee a happy home. Femi is a cool guy. He broke up with Rebecca simply because Rebecca is dull. Femi said he can't afford to raise dull kids. Femi is an assistant pastor in bethel of Christ church. Femi is a true believer. Back to the scenario. Femi contacted Toba if he could come over to pass the night and he agreed. Femi started driving down to mbaukwu where Toba's house is situated. The road is a very bad. Femi drove through the pot holes but suddenly his back tyre got punctured. The car swerved to the right and left cos he applied brake suddenly. There was a truck running down the road and the driver was looking elsewhere. Femi tried to cornered but it was too late.. A screeching sound: creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewww and.......... Oh! This forum is meant for all the single peeps out there!!! Do you want or like when your friends try to set you up with their other single friends? I certainly do not. It's happened to me a number of times within the past two years. My sister tried to pair me up with her co-worker's niece. The problem there was that I had no idea what she looked like or knew what she was interested in. I'm not the best conversationalist in the world, so that would have been a dilemma. To top it all off, she wanted me to take her to a fancy restaurant and pay for everything. Nuh uh. Not on my salary. The other year, my friends forced me to be paired up with one of their friends for their wedding. It was awkward. While she was attractive, I think I'd have a better conversation with a cat. TITLE:                LIFE ON THE LINE                   CHAPTER ONE . (THE DAWN). Life in the campus was nothing but one with mixed feelings. The good days were there for me to lean on at my leisure, while the bad ones left sore in my throats. Was is the threat of choice and freedom from the gangs who classified themselves as the alpha and omega of us all, or the illegal and unlawful impositions from the lecturers and most annoying hike in our tuitions by the school authorities... there were many of such to remember for years to come. Although,those mixed acts were not unexpected as my father did foretold me of their comings, but some of them were beyond my handling. As days went by, months kept running like the wheel of a moving train, years were burnt out like candle wax and all things, excluding my unexpected, went as nature planned them. My face was captured by every single eye in my department,my name was on every tongue and so the platonic love of my forms for me knew no bound.
